Beginning in early 2026, Mercy Care and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan canceled contracts with several large ABA providers in Arizona, affecting nearly 1,000 families across Greater Phoenix.
ABA therapy is not a luxury. For many children with autism, it is the primary support driving their communication, independence, and quality of life. Interrupting that care has real consequences, and families deserve a fast, clear path to continuing services.
Jigsaw Developmental Services is currently accepting new clients. We are a locally owned, BCBA-supervised ABA therapy provider based in the Biltmore District of Phoenix, and we accept both Mercy Care and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan — along with most other major Arizona insurance plans.

What to do if your child lost ABA coverage
- Verify your current coverage. Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask specifically whether ABA therapy is covered and which providers are currently in-network in your area.
- Request your child's clinical records. Ask your previous provider for a copy of your child's current behavior intervention plan (BIP), assessment reports, and session notes. This speeds up the intake process significantly.
- Contact Jigsaw. Call us at (480) 999-5666 or complete our online intake form. We will verify your insurance benefits and get your child on our schedule as quickly as possible.
- Ask about continuity of care. Let us know your child's current program goals and the therapy hours they have been receiving. We will do everything we can to maintain consistency during the transition.
